Abstract:
This paper presents a vision for the Future Internet and its impact on indi- viduals, businesses and society as a whole; the vision presented is based on an ex- tended consultation carried out by the authors within the European Future Internet research community, as part of the work of the Future Internet Assembly (FIA). The core result of this paper is the identification of six research priorities for the future. We also present a scenario related to the London Olympic Games, which is intended to link together the research priorities and related findings.
